A massage consists of soft, localized movements of tissue with results that are basically intended to provide relaxation and wellbeing. 

Massage - Techniques
In order to achieve success with this therapy, it is important to create an environment where everything that hinders it, such as clothing, telephone calls, etc., has been eliminated. 

A simple room at a comfortable temperature where distractions can be avoided is also recommended. The body and the mind relax with a few minutes of breathing exercises. If one prefers, soft background music can be used to foster relaxation.

It is important that this therapy be provided at specialized centers where the correct massage techniques and type of massage required are used according to the purpose, since a massage performed without knowledge on the subject could cause muscle damage.
